**General information.** The content of emergencyradio.co.uk is for information only. It is not tax, legal, accounting, financial or investment advice and does not create an advisory relationship between you and us.

**Check the official source.** Laws, rates and deadlines change. Each page names its official source and the date it was checked; before you act, check the official source or ask a qualified, authorised professional.

**Tools and calculators.** Results are indicative, based on the values you enter and simplified assumptions. They do not replace a professional's calculation and do not guarantee the outcome for your situation.

**No affiliation.** emergencyradio.co.uk is not affiliated with any authority, company or platform mentioned. Names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

**Liability.** We make reasonable efforts to be accurate but do not guarantee that information is complete or up to date. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

**Independent guide.** Emergency Radio UK helps you find broadcast frequencies and choose and test a radio for emergencies. It is not affiliated with the BBC, any broadcaster, the Cabinet Office, the Be Ready campaign, Ofcom or any radio manufacturer or shop. Station names appear only to identify the services and their frequencies.

**Frequencies change.** We compile frequencies from published station details and check them regularly, but transmitters close and change. If a frequency does not work, try the others listed for your station or check the broadcaster's own reception help.

**In an emergency.** If someone is in danger, call 999. Report power cuts on 105.

**Your data.** Your chosen station, answers and checklist stay in your browser and are never sent anywhere.
